Proposal Photographer
in the French Riviera
Quietly documenting one of the most important moments of your life — with timing, light, and discretion handled for you.
A considered approach to a one-time moment
I’ve been photographing proposals across the Italian Alps for nearly a decade, working in changing light, unpredictable weather, and real, unscripted moments.
I now work across Italy and the French Riviera, bringing the same approach to each location: preparation where it matters, and space for the moment to unfold naturally.
Planning a proposal here is not as simple as it looks
Most people arrive with a place in mind.
Few realise how much the experience depends on when and how it happens.
Questions tend to come up quickly:
Where should it happen, beyond the obvious viewpoints?
What time of day actually works, without crowds?
How do you keep it a surprise without making it feel staged?
You don’t need more options.
You need clarity, and someone who has done this before.
How I approach it
Timing
Light along the coast — whether in Èze or Nice — changes quickly.
The difference between a crowded scene and a quiet moment is often less than an hour.
Planning is built around that.
Positioning
I arrive ahead of time and blend into the environment.
By the time you reach the location, I’m already there — unnoticed, and in position.
The moment happens naturally, without interruption.
Flexibility
Weather shifts. Timing slips. Plans adjust.
The work is adapting to those changes without making them visible — so that, from your perspective, everything simply feels right.
Location ideas along the French Riviera
Èze
Elevated, quiet, with open views over the coastline. Best approached with careful timing.
Monaco
More structured and refined. Clean lines, controlled environments, and a different kind of atmosphere.
Nice
Accessible and varied. Often overlooked, especially outside peak hours.
The exact location matters less than how and when it’s used.

What the process looks like
Initial conversation
You share your idea, your timing, and how you imagine the moment.
Planning & timing
We define location, light, and logistics — simply and clearly.
The proposal
You focus on what’s happening. I take care of the rest.
Afterwards
Time to enjoy it, or a short session while everything is still fresh.
A note on experience
The most important part of this isn’t the location.
It’s how the moment feels while it’s happening — and how naturally it’s preserved.
That’s where attention to detail makes the difference.
Get in touch
If you’re considering a proposal in the French Riviera, these details start to matter more. Access, light, and timing shape the experience as much as the location itself.
I work across these locations throughout the season, planning around conditions as they are rather than as expected.
If you have something in mind, you’re welcome to reach out — we can go through it together, without pressure.
