A wedding in Germany

Most Surprise Proposal shooting negotiations involve the most diverse emotions, expectations, and insecurities. With Arthur it was no different. For months we talked about what a proposal would be like during a gondola ride in Venice.

On the photoshooting day there was a natural anxiety until we got into the gondola and started the ride. After enjoying the fascinating beauty of the small canals the most awaited moment arrived, that of the marriage proposal. The proposal happened only at the end of the tour, when the gondola was already out of sight on the Grand Canal, and was concluded with an emotional YES from Julia.

And what seemed to be just another romantic shooting of a couple that would receive their photos and return to their country turned out to be a possible wedding in Germany. Arthur sent me a message saying that they had really liked the photos and had already set a wedding date, and if was available, it would be a pleasure to work together again. I can say that it was one of the requests that captivated me the most, until today. Having the possibility of being the photographer at a wedding in Germany became one of the most important goals for the beginning of the following second semester, at least this was the scenario at the turn of the year.

And then, after a few months, with the trip from Italy to Cologne already organized, it was time to expand the portfolio to the German country. Obviously I was a little anxious, but fortunately Arthur and Julia sent me the complete schedule and I knew more or less how everything would happen. And I tell you: it was too special! The preparations, the village where the church for the ceremony and the reception were located, in short, it exceeded all expectations.
